Service Designer & User Researcher
Here are some projects I have done
My name is Júlia Bertoncello Ferreira Lima. I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, the country where I lived for 22 years. In 2015, I came to Italy looking for my family origin, therefore I have a dual citizenship. When arriving in Italy my passion for design has increased even more. I am enthusiastic for service design, user research, user experience, human behavior, neuroscience, psychology and anthropology.
Additionally, I worked for 2 years at the largest white-good appliances company in the world, Whirlpool, in the city of Joinville, Brazil. During this period, I specialized in User Experience Design, applying several qualitative and quantitative research tools with customers, carrying out analyzes of such researches and helping other design teams to develop products adapted to the users’ needs.
At Whirlpool, I have unfolded experience in project management and leadership. Moreover, I had direct contact with researching and service design tools applied to the reality and scale that a modern enterprise demands. I have developed higher sensitivity in delivering efficient
outcomes and understanding user needs and what they value in products and services.
Currently, I am working with PACO Design Collaborative, a flat and opened organization with non-hierarchical structure, which aims to encourage social innovation, sustainable behaviors and business opportunities by investing in the potential of design and education. On my duties, I have excellent opportunities to improve my skills and work with highly specialized people, developing projects with children and underprivileged communities around the world. Additionally, I have been working with design thinking workshops for companies such as Siemens, H-Farm and Eni.
